After learning about how to write an argument essay, the students will be writing their own at home. They had four different articles to choose from. All of the topics were chosen with the students interests in mind. Each part of the essay will be due over the span of a month so that the students are not writing it all at once. See below for the due dates. See the "Resources" tab for more information on this assignment. In grade 7 we have been working on writing Argumentative Essay. Our first essay required students to debate whether or not sports should stay in schools. Students have been creating these essays with the guidance of the checklist below. |
